My husband is at training school in a town about 2 hours away. He is allowed free time on the weekends so he called a friend to drive our car and pick him up. Well...our car broke down on the autobahn halfway btwn there and here. Our friend had to call his friend to come pick him up and by the time he got back here, the german police had already had our car towed.

So...my husband is still 2 hours away and we had to pay 150 Euro for the car being towed by the police, 300 Euro for this same company to bring the car back to the military post, and 60 Euro for the fine our friend was given because the electricity in the car went out and the emergency flashers didn't work. A car on the side of the autobahn at night is very dangerous and they are very strict about all that over here. Rightly so.

I'm just pissed because its so much freakin money and he didn't even get to come home and now I'm out of transportation. And we don't even know how much its going to cost to fix the freakin car.
