I've become hooked on Arizona green tea (cold) and Lay's jalapeno chips. I know its an odd combination but its so good and at least the green tea is good for me.

So my husband and I talked about his extremely sexist statements about women in the military and after I ripped him a new one he saw the error of his ways. We got to the root of the problem. We determined that the mindset of society at large would have to change for him to not resent the leniency given to some women in the military by male commanders, to not have many women feel that they can't be strong and kick-ass w/o guys calling them butch lesbians or fear a loss of womanhood, and not have some women feel that they can use their womanhood as an excuse to get out of work that they can perform equally well as a man. That's simplifying things but you get the gist.

I'm picking up my exercise bike today. It'll be something I can do during the baby's naps and I've made a deal with myself that everyday I plan on using it and don't, I'll put a dollar (or 1 euro) in a jar for my husband. That way, he'll be getting his money back (if I don't exercise) and that will be less money I have to spend on something else.

Well, it makes sense to me. Cheers to vanity!!
