Making pot roast for dinner. I hope it turns out well or it will be a Popeye's night.
A couple of weeks ago I made a really good casserole by accident. It was pretty much a baked spaghetti dish but instead of spaghetti I used brown rice and it was surprisingly really tasty.
Did you hear...there's a series coming out about Storm as a little street urchin in Cairo. This mini-series is called Ororo: Before the Storm - recounting Ororos adventures before she became an X-Woman and before she even reached teenager status. Finally, well see some detailed adventures of her life as a thief in Cairo after she tragically lost her parents and became an orphan. What surprises can we look out for? Its been hinted that there will be some characters from the X-Verse popping up, although the foreshadowing suggests that they may not be on Ororos side.
Marc Sumerak, the series writer has this to say, Shes been living the thieves life for long enough to have learned the ropes and to have become Master El-Gibar's prize pupil. But she is still just a child... and that means she's still going to make plenty of mistakes along the way! Although shes clearly been dealt a bad hand in life, Ororo remains bright-eyed and optimistic a quality that inspires those around her to succeed and excel. And despite the fact that she has been surrounded by so much death and despair in her life, Ororo still manages to embrace life in any form and to nurture those around her. Exceptionally loyal and warm-hearted, Ororo lives each day to the fullest and tries to make the best of her time as thief. And while the back alleys of Cairo are definitely our starting point for the series, there's so much more of Egypt to explore. It wont be long before their acts of thievery lead them into an epic Egyptian adventure that would make Indiana Jones and Lara Croft proud"
I think the release date is June 1.
I'm a grown woman that still sleeps with a teddy bear, reads comics, loves cartoons and collects japn animation. I know I should feel odd about some of that at my age but I don't.

Hopefully it will be a good series. Don't feel bad about reading comics, loving cartoons, and collecting japanimation; people who don't are just jealous.
