Its another bright and sunny day...

My mother called the other night. In a roundabout way she just told me to "keep myself open and don't say I won't change my mind" and to "get down on my knees and pray for my husband and child." Once she got off the phone my stomach was in knots and I ended up puke ing. I just can't describe to you how knowing she disapproves of me makes me feel when I talk to her... whatever

She's going to call tonight again. It should be an experience. She may also want to talk to my husband, which is fine, perhaps she would make him feel like he has support from her and Daddy.

Not too long ago, my husband mentioned moving to Cali as a possibility after he got out. I really like that idea. I've never been to Cali but I have a few relatives and friends there. Also, I think a place full of sun and ocean would be a nice place to be (I'm a bit leery of florida hurricanes), personally and family-wise. I want the baby to grow up in a place more inclined to include than exclude (or point her out as being different) for her mixed heritage and/or lifestyle of her parents.

Cali or France. tongue Unfortunately, I don't speak French nor do I have any job skills that would make that even feasible (neither would my husband move there), but it would be nice nonetheless. miao!!

France is always good. If anyone's mean all you have to do is make a sudden movement and everyone will surrender.

Sorry, can't help the French jokes.

Lack of parental support in your decisions always sucks. Sometimes I wonder how parents can be so (seemingly) unknowingly hurtful of their children.

So does your Mother think that praying will help solve your problems?

I think that if you did move to California, your lifestyle would not be so scrutinized.

Have a good day girl.
