ok, so you know Starbucks Tazo tea? That was a genius marketing scheme. The packaging is all ancient and mystical and slightly Tibetan, and very appealing. August and I were discussing this. It's supposed to make you think that you'll be in a different time/place when you drink their tea. I know that sounds rediculous, but seriously, look at it.
and this teacup?
holy shit. you see what i mean?
heh, i would totally start ripping on Starbucks, but then i'd be a hypocrite. i love their "Awake" tea. it really is very good.
it doesn't make me feel ancient or spiritual or anything, but it tastes yummy.
you know what else i loooooove? sugar snap peas. damn. so good. fresh, organic white corn? mmmmmm. pesto that my dad made from ingredients out of our garden? heaven. fried pumpkin blossoms with tomato and ricotta filling? amazing.
i'm making myself hungry.
E.T. is on the Sci-Fi channel. It used to be my favorite movie when i was a little kid. that is also making me happy.
So I decided that LIFE IS GOOD. This statement is of the kind that normally i would rip on, becuase you can't possible assign a word that is a human invention to something like Life, but you know what? I can make generalizations if i want to. SO THERE. especially if they're positive generalizations that make me feel better.
I love the mulitiple set today. love love love love love love it.
I'm excited because I'm going to my favorite resturaunt, Ciao Bella, with my boyfriend and too really good friends on Saturday! WOOT! i get to see my friend sally, who i haven't seen since highschool graduation. YAY. and we're bringing Jay, who's a really nice guy. So it's going to be a great day. Swimming at Del Mar, maybe some rollercoasters, then an awesome time an meal at Ciao Bella. Wow. i couldn't sleep last night becuase i was so excited about it. It's hard to explain Ciao Bella unless you've been there. Its insane. I love it. If you live in or around Santa Cruz and haven't been there, SHAME ON YOU. it's located in Ben Lomond on HWY 9. its really fun. the staff is really fun and sweet. go. the food is also very good.
wootwootwootwoot
my mood has totally flipped. i've been thinking so hard for so long, and i feel like a reached some sort of conclusion about death/suicide, that sort of thing. and i realized that it's ok. it's life. it's sad, and tragic, but at the same time, i think thats where Faye wanted to go. i don't think she would have had a good life if she stayed, becuase she wasn't able to help herself. and she wouldn't let anyone else help her. so. i'm still sad, but i feel ok about it. and i'm glad to know that hayley feels pretty much the same way. i love her. she's the sister i never had. and better, because we aren't forced to live together.
Thanks, Tadzi and Industrielle. you guys are so nice, and have helped more that you know. It was fun talking to you last night Tadzi.
