Yesterday I went to REI to get some stuff for Costa Rica. There will be a lot of hiking in hot/humid/rainy/FUCKING TROPICAL! weather, so I got some extremely dorky but awesome shoes:
Apparently these things are amazing hiking shoes, even if it isn't hot. Haha, oh man. Dorky.
Also: REI has started making womens clothing that doesn't look completely horrific! Who'd of thunk? I bought some shirts there yesterday that my boyfriend actually termed "hot." I don't know about you, but I find that pretty amazing.
I realize that it's not all about looking good in the wilderness, but it's nice to have the option of not feeling like a complete frump...Chacco's excluded.
