Creaturina is my baby girl. I created her, from scratch, several years ago, as part of an illustration assignment for my design degree. She stole my heart, I am her slave, and adore her. I know no one else gives a flying fuck about her, but I totally do. I have developed her over these last several years... to me she is real; for another part of my degree, I created an illustrated book about her, and in the dedication, I wrote: I know you are out there, and I love you. I love her so much, I seldom paint her, because I'm never happy with the result. I'm really good at photo-realistic paintings, but suck at my own creations. Anyway, periodically, I just have to have another go at creating Creatuie. So, here's another go. I thought, if I posted a WIP from the very start, it might inspire me to actually finish it.
If you don't know anything about my girl, she is a 4000 year old, immortal alien, who has lived on Earth for around 2000 years. She has never been beaten in combat, ever, by anyone, including entire armies, yet she has never held a weapon... that's because she is a weapon! In all this time, she has been alone, except for the last hundred or so years, when her constant companion has been Alice (my second, awesome creation), who she saved from near death a hundred years ago, by giving her her own blood, which made Alice immortal, too. Alice was only 18 at the time, though she, herself, was already way, way tougher, and far more dangerous than the average babe... in fact, she was a lethal psychopath, but Creaturina's blood cured her of her psychopathy, so that was nice (:
