I thank you all muchly for the birthday cheer.

My birthday, while stressful, turned out to be totally awesome. I went to a concert in DC with some friends (ThouShaltNot, Ego Likeness, and Voltaire). Since it was my birthday, there was a fair amount of celebratory drinking for my having survived another year. I got picked up by a cute girl. That was cool... I'd never actually been picked up by anyone in a club before, let alone a female. I figure it had lots to do with the fact that I was totally cute in my corset and poofy satin skirt.

Anyhow, my awesome birthday aside, everything else in my life and the world is completely unsettled. I haven't had a good night of sleep in at least a week, and it's really starting to take it's toll. I have begun my odyssey, relocating temporarily to Pittsburgh after the concert in DC. I would change my location in my info, but I honestly don't know where I'll be today, tomorrow and the day after, etc.

I hope that you all are well and are not interpreting my absence from SG as a personal affront. Things are just nuts and I haven't had a decent connection speed/time to catch up.
