I acknowledge that there are people in the world who are smarter than I am... who have more objective opinions than I do... etc. However, I refuse to be addressed in a way that denies my personhood... denies the validity of my position on certain topics.

I refused to be manipulated in a way that acknowledges my being some kind of second class citizen.

intelligence counts for nothing, and i mean that, nothing. its nice to be smart and all, but it doesnt necessarily lend itself to being a decent human being.

makes me wonder about the world. why are there people like that?
