Got the boy off safely to his mother's. I always hate seeing him go though.
Actually trying to keep myself busy this week. Tonight is the only night I don't have plans. I figure if I book myself up than I have a legitimate excuse to say no when the ex calls to ask if I can watch our boy because she has something to do that evening. It hurts me for his sake to say no but I have to stop being a doormat for her.
Ran into the 25 year old that I haven't been dating today. She actually called me right after we saw each other just to chat a bit more. It's odd to me. Every time I ask her out she has something else planned, and I have been trying to book well in advance. This time I asked her last week (phone message) and she never got back to me. Every time I get ready to chalk it off as not being interested she calls out of the blue and says we need to get together. I dunno I think I'll just let this one go I don't need the drama.
In any event I have 4 dates planned this week. Well 3 dates and 1 meeting whitewidow when she gets into OC. Who knows, maybe I'lll get lucky on one of em. Lord knows it's been a while. Jeez when did I turn into a lonely old dude? That sucks. Well nothing I can do about the old part but the lonely is fixable (actually so is the dude part but I don't think transgendering is really the way I should go. Know what I mean?)
No deep thougths today. I got all 3 seasons of Spawn on DVD. I'm looking forward to watching them. I have never seen the animated version even though I worked on it. I also introduced my son to Dr. Who this weekend. He saw some Daleks in a scene in "Loony Tunes Back in Action" and I was trying to explain where they came from. So I bought "Pyramids of Mars" on DVD. It's a Tom Baker episode for those of you who know the good doctor. He loved it! That's my boy!
Oh and one last interesting story from the weekend. We went to a barbeque on Saturday. It was for a bunch of his buddies from his old preschool. I started talking to this breathtakingly beautiful woman who's daughters had gone there as well (although not in his particular class). The girls weren't there. She told me they were with their dad. Turns out they are getting divorced as well. She's 37, so old enough for me to date without being creepy. So I got brave (unusual for me). I gave her my number as I was leaving. Our hostess was there and told her to take it because I'm a great guy. Talking to another parent the next day I'm asked "Oh did you see her boyfriend?" Evidently he got there just after I left. He's also 37 and a competative body builder. Oh well, that's one call I doubt I'll be getting. Still I remain hopeful that there is someone out there for me. Maybe even a nice SG... Who knows.

Awww that's sad. *hugs* It sounds like the first girl you were talking about is just playing games. Games, such a waste of time. Keep up hope you'll find the right one. You're son is adorable!
