My son came home today. That always makes my world better. We spent the day at Topanga beach with one of his buddies. Oddly the only place I sunburned was the tops of my feet. The reason that seems odd is I have lived pretty much in Tevas since the summer started. Go figure.
The Karaoke birthday party last night actually turned out to be ok. I knew maybe 4 people. It was all voice over folks and engineers, so at least I was with people with whom I had something in common. Some of them are pretty good singers too so it wasn't as painful as I had thought either. (of course, there was this one guy.....)
