It's interesting: I have spent the past couple of weeks away trying out Myspace and friendster and have come to the conclusion that SG is just a better friends site design. The boards are better. The groups are better. The friends are more active. Although I have only met three of you in real life I have to say I enjoy the interaction here more than with people I already know on the other sites (not a lot going on there). This way I will also get to see Coi and Whitewidow in the buff (something I am sure would never happen in real life so hey).
