Last night was another amazing time in New Orleans with my man watching one of our favorites. Dax Riggs (vocalist to Acid Bath and Deadboy & The Elephantmen) played with King Buzzo at One Eyed Jack's. He is always such a dream to see live. We slow danced to tragic love songs in a bar full of belligerent screaming show-goers; but I felt as though it was just us & Dax. All I could feel was his arms draped around my hips. All I could hear was Dax singing & playing... "My baby knows how it rocks & rolls..." On & on. We just danced & kissed & grinned. It was better than prom. Blessed to live in an area with such raw musical talent. Blessed to have a man to enjoy it with. Until new time, "See you all in Hell or New Orleans."
