I went to the interview on Wednesday for the administrator/cashier job at 3663 in Harlow, and it went well. The woman who interviewed me was really friendly, it was a pretty relaxed informal interview. Some guy just knocked at the door selling fascias, he had stretched ears at 8mm and asked what size mine were, ended up being a cool discussion about body mods in the workplace biggrin
Awesome. I don't meet many cool people like that on a day-to-day basis.

I'm gonna learn how to play guitar. Not doing so years ago has been a regret of mine. So, what the hell, in 2009 I shall make some noise!
Can anyone give me pointers?

In other news, I gave one of my Blythe dolls dreads today. I have way too much time on my hands. I hate Sundays.

My tip is to find something you'd love to be able to play and then find either the sheet music (if you can read it) or someone who can show you how to play it. Pick something that will be rewarding when you're done learning it-- Smoke on the Water is nice and easy, but who still listens to Deep Purple, really? smile

Thanks! It hurts like a bitch at the moment and i've not got a foot, i've got a total trotter. I'm getting shading on it in the summer when it's warm enough to wear flip flops. Either that or i'll just go hippy for a few weeks and go bare foot if it's really warm! smile
