I am reading the new Synergia from school. It is beautiful and some of the work makes my stomach turn in horror. Because the stories could be real. The fiction has real, tangible beginings.
It makes me dream of having a long, silver pistol. Silver and thin, perhaps with a mother of pearl handle. I don't like guns, let me make this clear.
I would deliver judgments, arguable ones perhaps, but this is my dream and in it I am never wrong. I would arrive when I was least expected and they would receive a cheap bullet. Cheap becuase they don't deserve more.
This is my dream and I am allowed it. Becuase for me, there is no celestial judgement being handed down. Who am I to decide life or death or good and evil? Who else will if someone doesn't step up. I don't believe there is an omniscent being waiting to differentiate between the murderers and the rapists.
Let me also add that I would not revel in this, nor do I revel in the thought. But I am not content to allow the world to continue allowing this. I want some retribution.
