Last night I had fancy warm goat cheese and beet salad, cosmopolitans, grilled shrimp and mushroom risotto, and lots of merlot. My roommate and I got drunk and had funny conversations with our host. I sort of hurt my knees scrambling across the linoleum floor to get my cell phone before it woke anyone up. Then I did it again. This morning we woke up and our host brought us tea and coffee in bed and put on Motzart (it's his speed in the morning) and we hung out somemore. Finally we went out for breakfast and had wonderful baked goods and mediocre coffee and then I went home to take a shower. A much needed I'm-greasy-and-hungover-ish shower.
Then Dave came over and we had a fabulous time.
I got my haircut and then went to meet Dave a second time at a tea bar in NW and it is maybe my new favorite place to go. Really, it is great.
I studied there some more and now I am home. Getting ready to write a movie summary in german and then try to get my extracurricular shit in order.
Wish me luck with that, it just doesn't seem to ever get done.
Having a mini weekend half way through the week is definitely what I needed.
I hope this weekend will be as much fun.
I am feeling the crunch to make things and get them submitted to sites and shipped out in time for holiday shopping. This seems like a bizarre worry to me. Also I am waiting to hear back about what exactly a site wants from me so that i can order plain clothes and get them printed up.
