Finishing a paper, making mental lists of the books I will buy on Friday, the zines I will check out from IPRC, and the cds I will try to buy.
I hope I get my paycheck soon. This workstudy is great, only noone seems certain of when I can pick up my paycheck. I suspect this Friday morning. I hope this Friday morning.
My painting turned out pretty well, the 2 of the same subject go together well also. But one is smaller because I cut the angles on the ends of the stretcher bars backwards and had to correct it.
The open-mike for the Womyn's Center went well, we had 45 people at the height of it and made $70. Which is good since only about 1/5 of the people who came donated money for the fundraiser.
I am inspired to get our next event moving.
Note: apparently my surge protector will turn off if the following things are all being used at once:
computer
desk lamp
space heater
small fridge
toaster oven
(the microwave was plugged in but not in use)

At the dorms the breakers were set up lining the two rooms that shared a bathroom to eachother... Between the four of us living there we had five computers, two tvs, three refridgerators, two microwaves,and a few other various things. It wasn't until we tried to use the two microwaves at the same time that we blew the breaker. The manager of the building was pretty pissed off at us that day.
