I am reading an article for my research paper. I feel like doing anything else but this.
It gets dark at 4:30.
And its real hard to get motivated to write research papers in the dark.
In other news I had a near-god-like cheeseburger at George's this weekend.

I want to be a public librarian in a Portland Branch, though I haven't ruled out at an academic library. In my studies, I have tried to be as well-rounded as possible, taking reference, cataloging, and young adult service classes. I have one more semester before I have my Master's. Luckily, I only need to take one more class in the Spring semester, so this full time bullshit is almost behind me (four more weeks).
I want to work in Portland, as that is my home. I am hopeful that I will have some kind of inside connection, as I used to volunteer with the Multnomah County system and I attended PSU as an undergrad (thin, I know). Let me know what your mother has heard about the possibility of openings in the Portland job market. Thanks for visiting my journal.
