Conundrum,
You are a single, middle class male. You love your dog more than anything in the world.
Your dog gets attacked by another dog (You aren't present). This person is your moms Neighbor.
You pay close to 400 bucks to patch your dogs physical wounds up. You can afford 400 bucks (I guess I go on a cheaper vacation). You could pursue and make a big deal to the person this weekend and demand payment. OR you know this person so well that you know they don't have 400 bucks as they have 3 kids and you'll never see the money anyways.
However, I'm so angry. My dog has already been bitten twice. I know the long progress to socialization will totally be reversed. I am pissed that I had to pay 400 bucks and take time off work when I was really needed. I guess this is a no win situation.
