i like the new canadian postal code feature...
so, I don't know whats going on...this leave period has been crazy...full of ups and downs...I walked 14km's twice in two days...it took me 3 hours each day...my feet and my thighs hurt so bad (feet cause of blisters, thighs cause well my boxers rode up and chaffed...I tried fixing them but eventually they just crawled up there and stayed...and trust me, there are few places in Winnipeg sticking your hand down your pants is tolerated)
So ya...today went well, I helped a friend put up a fence...it took all day but hell, I had NOTHING else to do so it was all good, and he cooked me dinner. It was great...
AND tonight "she" called. I like her...she always makes me feel so happy when I talk to her, well mad and sad (in the same conversation) but mostly happy
My dad and some family friends are coming for my wings grad, I can't wait..at least I'll have someone who cares there
The guy I put up the fence with is from the squadron I am being posted too, he was telling me about all the great things it has to offer. I can't wait to go skiing, golfing and sailing all in one day (I don't normally golf, ski or sail but hey I just want to say I did it all in one day)
I am seriously stoked about getting back in my inline skates, downhill mountain biking, walking by the ocean (flying over the ocean)..sitting on my balcony looking at the sun set into the pacific ocean...if only I had someone to do all those things with.
Anyway...tonight I am happy...how long it lasts who knows...but I do know two things that if they work out...will bring me great happiness for a long long time.
oh and there is a lightening and thunderstorm outside...I love lightening, it scares me...and I like to be scared.
