So as studying is starting to winddown (well in a sense that we aren't going to have written exams twice a week and new academics are almost done) life is starting to be more relaxing.
I was supposed to be flying today but because of weather, my first flight was cancelled frown but tomorrows crew should be able to go no problems leaving me as lead on a two man crew Friday. I am excited, nervous, anxious...actually a huge array of emotions. I can't remember if I said in my last journal but I was talking to a girl in a bar a couple of weeks ago...I told her what I did for a living, I was expecting the normal blank stare and "what?" BUT what I got instead was OMG I saw that on the discovery channel. It was such a great feeling. SO, on a sort of side note...as sort of motivation our instructors brief us on what exactly our new jobs will be...they also show a video (both of which have been on Discovery Channel's Wings progam) It is so cool...but its kind of scary...as I see more about the job its sinking in that I actually have a big person job. Sure Air Traffic Control has the illusion of being a grown up job but it isn't really...but my new job...(if I get helicopters) I will eventually be directly responsible for saving a persons life, I will be sitting with a loaded machine gun flying cover fire for different things and if I get airplanes I will be indirectly responsible saving a persons life BUT hands on search and rescue...what ever job I go to...it will be awesome....
and scary...

but I like to be scared.

OH an addition to my journal....I just got two bracelets in the mail from the amazing kasara's boyfriend. They are awesome...I will have pics soon but I highly recommend checking out his website Gothica Fetish & Leather
