Sorry I haven't been around much, I have been VERY busy. I had another test this week, our meterology final. I got 86% which was surprising since I guessed on most of it...BUT I passed and I am still on course...til at least friday when we write radar theory. In the mean time we have been doing BAT's (basic aesop trainers) we did BAT 3 today and we do BAT 4 tomorrow, which means the last couple of nights all we have been doing is plotting points on maps, distances and headings. As silly as it sounds, I am having a blast...we sit in a big room in our barracks, put in a good movie, have a couple of beers and prepare for our simulated flights the next day...this is a long hard course but it couldn't be anymore fun. AND next Wednesday we go for our first flight. I am so excited. As a treat when we complete 5 or 6 flights in the Winnipeg area, we are flying to Comox British Columbia and Victoria BC for a week to visit potential postings for us.

This is a great job, I just can't wait for the academic portion of the course to end so I can do what I do..and thats control airplanes.
