I took my car into the garage to replace my muffler and exhaust. He said the part would be like 550 and it would be about another 150 for labour I was like thats cool...so the parts came in and he was like oh, this isn't what we expected its going to cost a bit more I was like...okay another 200 max and that would be okay...so he was like I will figure out the price and let you know...so I was like DO NOT TOUCH THE CAR if its going to cost more then 200 extra...he was like okay. So the next day I call in the morning he was like ya it will be done at the end of the day. I was happy so I said its only going to cost like 900 and he said no the final bill will be like 1200 I was like FUCK THAT so I told him to stop working on the car (since he didn't have permission to do so anyway) and that I was taking it else where...so then he said well you know they will keep your deposit 400. I was like fuck you...you ordered the wrong piece and are doing unauthorized work...so long story short I got my deposit back BUT my car has no muffler on it...a big 6 cylinder 3.3 litre engine is very loud without a muffler....
I took it to midas they will do it all for 650....so all is good...

okay journal part 2.

Last night I went out to a neighbourhood pub with a couple of the other coursemates who didn't go anywhere for easter. Anyway, I walked in and I heard some kick ass music, I turned the corner and saw the most beautiful girl ever. but the best thing is not only was she hot but she was an amazing rocker. I was captivated...when the set was done I had the waitress send over a drink (and a SG sticker) she came over to thank me we got to talking...she was very sweet. We talked for the entire break then she went up to continue rocking...after the show she came back and we easily talked for 2 hours. I am definately going to see them again. But today I am asking myself why did I think she was hotter then the other punk rock girls that were there and today as I was listening to their CD it came to me. To explain it I will have to tell a story about my first true love. Back in 97 I was dating a girl I should have married..(but thats a different story) Anyway, she played volleyball on a local team...nothing serious at all. Her team sucked but she was a great player and she didn't care the team sucked she just loved playing. I would always go and watch her and she always asked why...it was because she was so beautiful when she played...she could have been playing for the gold in the olympics or in a backyard game somewhere, she was happy playing you could see the intensity, the passion...it was amazing and I have been looking for 'that look' in others since we have broken up...last night watching Jolene rock she had that look. She could have been playing to a sold out crowd at the sky dome or in the garage with just her band it wouldn't have mattered she loves singing...that passion that intensity is rare in people. I am not saying I want to marry the hot punk rocker...I am just saying she is very beautiful and she rocks...the band rocks you should go check them out
