So, I just got back from participating in this. It was long hours, hard work but a lot of fun. The reality of what I'll be doing in the coming months is starting to sink in though. I am excited for the new challenge but also terrified.

But...I'm sitting here tonight, alone. The last 2 weeks I have been at work about 12 hours, had a roommate in a small hotel room and had lots of people around. I thought I would love the solitude of my condo tonight BUT it's just the opposite. I want someone to watch a movie with, go for a beer with but I have no one close to me in my life here. It's sad and depressing. I can't imagine how awful it will be when I get home from..."there"
