I knew I was happy to be home...but I didn't realize how much I do love it here and most of those feelings have all be triggered by scents. When I got off the airplane, the smell of the ocean and spring was in the air. The temperature was considerably warmer then Ontario and no snow. It was great. I was instantly happy, then when I opened the door of my apartment, the smell of my still relatively new (to me) apartment, it was the smell of home. I LOVE my apartment. I have had the curtains open to enjoy the view. The rain even has me happy. Yesterday I had to run into work to drop off some paper work and the laptop I signed out for the course. That familiar smell of the hanger, I was so excited, I wanted to run home jump in uniform and go flying right then and there...Its amazing how a long pointless course away from home really makes you appreciate where you are. I also went for long drives in my mustang and BMW, its good to drive again. I am happy...very lonely...but happy.

A friend from home showed me a new site facebook.com and I have been going crazy the last couple of days looking for old friends, old girlfriends...then I thought, would it be considered creepy to contact someone without having talked to them for the 10 to 15 years? opinions anyone??
