I have officially started my vacation...I was supposed to be off till the 29th BUT they needed volunteers to go to the Abbotsford Airshow So, being the nice guy I am, I volunteered...its going to be awesome, we do a couple of media flights when we come into town on Thrusday, then we do an air demonstration Friday or Saturday and the other day is a static where I get to stand by the airplane and talk to anyone who has questions. I love that So anyone in the Vancouver area, go to the airshow next weekend. It does work out nicely though...I had my leave cancelled for those 4 days and had the extra days added to the end of the month so when I get back from the show I will be off till the 4th of Sept. Now I only need something to do.

This weekend was okay. Comox had "nautical days" this weekend, dad came down Saturday, we spent the day at the beer garden...good times. Tonight is the fireworks I will probably go to.
