I guess its been awhile since I have updated, so here it goes. I don't really have much to say. I didn't end up going to Edmonton last week like I thought..BUT I am going to Alaska in a week and a half for 2 weeks, then I am home for 2 weeks (with a night back in Saskatchewan) then off to Hawaii for two weeks...then I work for 2 weeks and have a 3 week vacation. My summer is pretty much planned. I don't know what i am going to be doing for my 3 weeks off. I was thinking about travelling but with 2 week paid trip to Hawaii, do I really need to go anywhere else? Maybe a series of day/night trips around Vancouver Island and since I found out the Phantom of the Opera is playing in Vancouver, I am sure I will go visit my friend in Vancouver.
Okay, I need advice. I haven't dated since December 04, haven't had sex since Jan 05 and well I don't remember the last time I held a girls hand. I put off even trying to meet someone for the last year and a bit because of the courses and moving I have been doing the last year...but I am home...I mean real home and well, there are some very cool, beautiful girls around. (especially this one waitress that works at the restaurant I frequent, I am tres twitterpaited with her) Anyway, the advice I need is...HOW do I meet these girls? Its been so long I have no idea how to initiate a conversation, or to flirt properly. I feel so pathetic, that I don't even bother trying to flirt or get to know someone. BUT I really do want to start a relationship (or at least someone cool to hang out with) I want to feel that excitment of a new relationship, to feel special to someone, to have someone feel special to me...what can I do???

I'm not much good at chit chat either. I usually try to make them laugh or cut the tension somehow right off the bat, perhaps with what might be considered a slightly self-depricating but also endearing anecdote? That seems to make it easier.
