oracle

So, today we had the 2nd attempt at our first flight on course. (the first attempt ended before we got airborne because of an equipment problem) SO...today we get in the hanger at 7am...we preflight the aircraft, we strap in, we get Air Traffic Control clearance and we're off...it was great, we are finally airborne. We were going to do a couple of approaches at a couple of airports in the surrounding area to keep the pilots current. roughly 20 minutes into the flight, I am in the galley with another student reading some pubs on a secret computer (one we don't have access to normally) we both notice a burning smell so we decided between us it was the oven so we continued to read...then one of the instructors came back..decided it WASN'T the oven...we checked out the airplane couldn't decide what was causing the smell, we declared an emergency and landed at Fredrickton Airport...we waited there for a couple of hours, fixed the airplane and flew back to greenwood...so we are still waiting for our first famil flight...oh well.

I am going to see Lord of War tonight...it should be fun, then dad is coming to visit this weekend and we are going to a Jimmy Flynn performance.
