Konichiwa, bitches. That's me using proper Japanese.

I am seriously trying to teach myself some Japanese phrases. I think that when I get around to enrolling in school that I'll consider some Japanese courses. This week I realized that being fluent in a second language is probably very useful professionally. In the line of work I'm in right now, that seems like a good choice for a second language. Plus, were I to ever make it as a tattoo artist, once I knew the language, then I could teach myself kanjii. When someone came to me, they could be sure I wasn't tattooing characters that meant "vaginal discharge" on their arm.

Today, my thoughts run the gamut from the basic to the typical to reflections on patriotism and this nation's history of true patriots. I will refrain from rambling. I'll just say that today, I'm thinking a lot about guys like Thomas Paine and Thomas Jefferson.
