oh i have been so slack in updating this journal... my apologies! life continues to be busy as hell... i found homes for all my kittens i found but one. we kept him cause he so fucking sweet. i named him Navin (from the Jerk- one of my all time fav films) and he's getting along so well with the "oddball" kittys in our clan- the ones who could use another friend, you know?
so it's all good.
sheesh- i need to take a new photo with my new hair- i had mentioned that i hacked it off- dyed it black and fuschia- it's cool. way happier now that it's longer (about an inch and a half)
i've updated my profile a little- i wasnt even aware that there were new options. yes i suck
i have been super horny lately- this cold weather does it to me!!!
its going to be a busy week with thanksgiving - i donot understand that holiday. yay lets kill a turkey and eat it's body while we think of how we made friends with the native peoples (who we raped and killed and took their shit away from them) yay.
stupid fucking holidaze. and i have to work through them- petsitting and vet work. d and i might have to take seperate holidays this year- his brothers birthday is on thanksgiving, my cousins from va. will be at my moms in chattanooga. so i will be there. d will probably not. our first year with seperate celebrations. weird.
but again,it's thanksgiving. i give fucking thanks every day of the year that i can function, that my brain is halfway normal, that i was able to clean my life up and not end up a junkie. i am thankful for my house, my man, my critters, my friends, my jobs, my sex life (which gets more interesting as time passes)... i don't need a day for someone to tell me i have to be thankful then. and eat turkeys. yuckie
ok, enough of my rant. i get wednesday off (except for a dog walk and reading to my toddlers) so i will relax then... and treat myself- b/c it will be a long weekend of work.
but i did splurge and buy myself some cute stuff this last weekend. why is it that a new skirt or shoes can make you feel like a hottie? consumerism has it's ups
ok- i'm cold so i'm off to crawl under the covers and snuggle up...
