is it possible for a person to stay so busy they just fall over dead? that's how i feel 
anyways- quickie for ya- i've been busting my ass petsitting and working at the vet- plus babysitting and reading to toddlers at the cafe... i havebeen so busy i haven't been on the internet at all- never mind SG! i haven't even checked my email in almost a week! *gasp*
and i'm raising new baby squirrels- i had two guinea pigs here for a while treating them and i currently have a foster bunny whose toe was amputated due to infection. i named him skippy- dorky i know, but dammit he does skip- not hop- cause of the bandaged foot. he may lose his leg if we can't get the infection under control. he was picked up from douglas co. animal control becasue he was going to be euthanised... and he was ill- he had the icky infection and was thin. his ears were all torn up at some point- in a fight- so he's got snaggle-ears. heh. he's cute as pie.
anyways- the foster bun and squirrels are keeping me busy- in addition to my regular furry crew.
but no complaints- i love them all.
and if you have read my man's journal- you know i want an eyeless rat at the store- a feeder rat.now i know better than to look at the rodents when i go to a petstore that sells them. i KNOW BETTER. but i cannot help myself. they are cute and most of the rats and mice will become food for reptiles. why don't people feed hamsters to rats? (NOT that i want them to start) but why just rats and mice? why are they so cheap? this rat has hadit tough, i can tell. he's so afraid and he's missing and eye. yeah i have a thing for *mutated* animals- got three legs? give it to me. and attitude problem? i love it already. needs surgery and lots of meds? it's mine. i guess cause i have problems too? i dunno. (no i am not missing any body parts or need surgery... but i do need my meds and pot to stay normal and happy)
but danl is not happy with the rat idea. shit- i'd take him out with us-like i do the squirrels- and he'd be a part of the family. but danl has only had not good experiences with rats- like wild rats screeching at him. he's not been around a pet rat before. they are so cute.
anyways- that's all the exciting news. i think.
i'm off to walk a dog (my only job today) before i start petsitting full time again this weekend. i'm taking my squirrels with me and i'm gonna get a fresh juice- arden's garden- yuuuuuuuummmmmmm.
