long day! daniel accidentally took my pet sitting keys to work with him, so i made an impromptu visit to the roastery. then doggie visits and then to the rescue to feed the buns since debbie is on vacation- which she desperatly needed... it took me over two hours to feed the buns (there are about 35-40 bunnies there), fill water bottles, fill pellet bowls, and medicate 2 buns
anyway, my exciting news of the day is i got offered a part time job with my vet- my exotic vet who does not see cats and doggies- so i would get to hang out with cool critters allday. chinchillas, bunnies, reptiles, turtles, birds, hedgehogs, bats, ferrets, and whatever else comes inthe door... of course assholes also come through that door- assholes who do not wish to take care of their pets cause the treatment "costs more than the animal when i bought it" ARRRRGRGGGGG
i might just flip my lid.
seriously, that would be the one thing i couldn't handle.
luckily the vet lets you get a little attitude with them.
and she likes tattoos and piercings...
and she used to keep black widows as pets on her dining roomtable. how freaking cool is that??
of course, i will also be tempted to bring home the creatures that get dumped there or that get brought in and left. or the "illegal" ones- like hedgehogs... they had some recently that a school got rid of for that reason- i wanted them- daniel frowned. i already took in two of the buns that got dumped there- zen and lola...
BUT i have all my petsitting people that i can't let down- my neighbor knows an older lady that needs some part time work and shes an animal lover- and responsible- BUT i can't give her the crazy nutty dogs that jump allover you! so should i hire some part timers?? should i scrap the petsitting altogether? should i say no to the vet? (they contacted me with the job- and they don't hire often) and if i take the job, i'll end up with even more petsitting cause i'll be at the vet! and i'll get reduced cost vet care- and they will see my buns and my cats (they see the employees cats and dogs) HELP!!!
what should i do? then i still have tothink about baby- i have her on thursday and fridays soon- next week actually- days are being switched.. hmmmm
so many things to figure out- my head is gonna *pop*
and i have the kids cafe (yes i read to toddlers for free soy lattes) tomorrow too- eep.
