optimism

I have a friend that I met two jobs ago. We went through training together. The first thing I noticed about him was that our reactions, and thought processes are identical. We did the test for the company at the same time. Started it and finished it at exactly the same time. Got almost the exact same mark- 2% off. In training, we thought exactly the same. Tended to give the same answers for questions out loud, and it was eerie. So we got along quite well. Since then, it became quite obvious that we have polar opposite tastes in music. I can't conceive of anyone being so different that way. Anyway, I just wanted to share that. I think it's cool that we both recognize and accept it about each other. I've said it before. It's the small things that make me happy.

I was feeling blah earlier but I feel a little better now. I've not felt like talking much lately. I think it's going around. Everyone seems to be a little quieter these days.

Thanks to SG and Sonic, I have started listening to Hot Hot Heat. I really like the three songs that they play on the radio. They're from where I went to school.

I hope they announce the new CBA for the NHL soon. I'm expecting it to be Thursday. It's been painful waiting. I expect the message boards I go to will be hopping Hockey's Future- Oilers page.
