Too many comments. Time to update. It's a nice feeling when someone makes a comment to you unprompted like. I like it. Small things make me happy.
Anyways, I drank too much last night and consequently am hung over today. I don't get hangovers. But after the 4 pints of Strongbow, 2 pints of Guinness, I went home and a friend and I finished half a bottle of Crown royal and more than half a bottle of overproofed Knob Creek. I guess that was enough to do it.
I just watched Punch Drunk Love. What an odd movie. I can relate to his prowess with women too.
I am currently putting a disc together of songs that make me happy. A friend of mine has graciously offered to burn the disc for me because I can't. This is what I have currently:

Didn't win the Quiz last night. That's okay though. It was just a regular night. Tonight is week two of "The Championships"- three weeks of combined scores for huge prizes. It is at the Druid South tonight and Blue Chicago on Wednesday next week.
It's good because the guy runs it waited until I was done with my Big Band and Orchestra rehearsals for the year (last week) so that my team would come. My rehearsals were on thursdays and tuesdays respectively. I play trumpet for those of you who don't know. So I'm excited about two quiz nights this week and next. We're six points behind going into this week.
In the space of 2 1/2 months at my new job, I have gone from maternity leave cover- temporary to permanent weekend shifts to pending night shift with a move to weekend days as soon as someone else gets hired there. This will not make sense to anyone but it's maore than I could have hoped for so soon after leaving my old job for a temp position. Also, I love it there and the people are awesome.
