So. After a night of forced grins to cover my angst at meeting my ex-fiancee's husband, I can conclusively say that she no longer will fuck with my head and my heart, because I know that I experienced the worst possible scenario - having dinner with the ex and meeting her husband - and lived. Anyway.

In the plus column, though, I have a brunch date with a cute British nutritionist tomorrow, and a cute landscape architect who I believed had no interest in me, emailed me last night out of the blue to say hello. I'm going to keep things in perspective, but I think I am entitled to a quiet 'yippee'.
