Its boosting your already damaged ego and that feels good. Girls like that are bad news though, they tend to be narcissistic and eventually treat you like shit. The fact that she's on the verge of cheating and crossing your boundaries are huge red flags. It feels good at the start, she seems exciting, your ego is boosted, you feel shes choosig you over this other guy so you feel special. She might even start idealizing you and compare you to her boyfriend which will also feel pretty fucking good. But I'd say stay away, she sounds toxic.
