Been listening to A LOT of edm in the last few months; involuntarily as well as voluntarily. I've seen a couple shows in the same fashion, and I can't help but feel like it's grown on me. My favorite artist by far (the term Dj is way over used) is Ben Gold. Look up Amplified on youtube and you'll know why. Can't say I always like the way Tiesto and other big names do their bass drops; emphasizing bass over melody. Ben Gold keeps a catchy melody in your head while blasting bass down your molecules and to me it puts him apart from other trance/edm artists today. Hope everyone's Labor Day was awesome, mine was!
