Well internets, a momentous occasion for yours truly, this will be the first November in four years that I can actively participate in No Shave November. The service required you shave all the time, but now I'm free I can grow a three foot long beard if I want. Honestly that would get messy and probably take the rest of my life to accomplish but fact of the matter remains that I could do it if I want to! Also Veteran's day is coming up and I'd like for everyone to remember those fallen in the name of America (wouldn't really say freedom but let's not get too political here). It's weird to say I'm a veteran; the word makes me think of the guys I see at the legion still pulling shrapnel out of their bodies. The only thing I'm a veteran of is field day, unfair promotions to the undeserving, formations, and loads of SNAFU scenarios. Either way, I'll be sparing my face the blade all month and a decent 'stache is growing in already (manscaped so that I'd look more like Elvis for Halloween).
