A new twist.

I've been offered more money and a higher position to move to Palm Springs, CA. Not the nightlife of Vegas, but from a design standpoint, much more fulfulling.

Good hell.

I start in Vegas in 10 days--it'll be a whole new experience--way outside my comfort zone. But, that's kinda the point, isn't it? I'll only be in Vegas for a few months before moving to the SF bay area. I'll be near my brother, and my favorite city.

Going to work for an architectural firm in Las Vegas, but I don't have to move there. I'm going to open their Sacramento office. That will be fun--but put a strain on my family. It'll all work out, but it's a long pull till then.

Looks like Vegas may be the move, though they want me to open a bay area office for them. We're hashing out the salary package details now.

I'm a fucking capitalist pig after all. Shit.

Another job offer today from San Francisco. Tough deciding where to move your family--things like tranferring to new school districts, finding a home, etc. become nearly overwhelming.

We're so frustrated with current circumstances that we're gonna run away. Not a particularly healthy way to deal with things, I admit. Nevertheless, the grass may indeed be greener over there. A week and a half has passed. I got my son's portrait tattooed on my left shoulder yesterday as a way to start the healing. Thanks to everyone who sent kind words and support.
