Happy Valentine's day everyone!

I'm taking the day off and cooking dinner for my wife (which is no big deal, because I cook for our family every day anyway), then swimming, then videos with my wife and daughters.

Anyone have BIG plans?

As far as I know I will be doing nothing, I might clean my APT and fill out some applications.

Because of the huge number of comments on my latest set... You are receiving this comment late and it is the same comment that I am leaving everyone else as well. I usually try to thank everyone individually and much more personal like, but I would just never in a million years have the time to do that this time. So, I just want you to know that I appreciate that you took the time to comment on my new set. It was very wonderful of you, and I'm sorry that my return comment is so impersonal. However, if you want to stop by my page and say hello sometime, leave me an email, whatnot I'd love to chat. I am nice to everyone that is nice to me.

So, thank you very very much for your nice comment on my set! It is appreciated.

Live from Torino...

OK, not me, but one of my best friends works for the US ski team. She called me from the opening ceremonies in Torino. I'm really an Olympics slut. I always wanted to be a downhill racer, and (dog help me, I LOVE figure skating), the Olypmics are great. As I sit here by the pool in 90 degree weather, sipping margaritas,...

This is an...uh, update for the sake of updating update.

The plans are moving along at a snail's pace--but at least progress is being made. The soundtrack is being scored, and a light rig, soundboard and PA have been secured. Still no venue booked, but I'll probably scout locations in Los Angeles this weekend.

That's about it.

Oh, I met Ted Allen, the food and...

It's taking shape--think about the scene in "Indecent Proposal" where Woody Harrelson is talking about what a brick aspires to be. Then stir that up together with a combination of a punk show and a fashion show (in a very non-VH1 kind of way). It's out there, but not as bizarre as you might think.

More as it develops...

Yes that tends to do that to a person. It sounds like you are having more fun then I am.

Are there any other groups that we both belong to? Well I guess I could go look for my self.
nikonphoto80:
you sure are in a lot of groups, it looks like we are in 4 or 5 of the same ones. you have some on your list that i had no idea was even out there.

The big plan (mentioned in a previous post) will be unleashed in September. That seems like a long way off now, but the days are clicking off.

So much to do...

New graphic design, including new web presence.

TONS of content to arrange.

Photo shoots (I know there are a bunch of great photographers here!).

New music to be written.

Arrange for venues in Los...

Head hurt. Head REALLY hurt.

Nevertheless, '06 will fucking fall to it's knees before me. Wackiness will ensue.

Thanks for being here. I love you all, as if you care smile .

I'm not much of a dancer, so even if I heard of one going on I probably wouldn't go. I went to a party with a few of my friends instead.

I've been thinking a lot lately about the "sense of magic below the surface of ordinary existence". Call it intuition, hope, anxiety--I don't know. I love the...

no swords frown that won't happen till sumer, and I have other sets I wan't to shoot over sumer too and they might not all get done . . .

in responce to the underlying magic musings you posted: I think that magic is an underlying energy in the universe that we can tap into if we are full and balanced human beings. Part of that process is learning not to lie to yourself and to confront your problems in order to be strong from within. magic is a personal process, that involves whatever dieties or tools that work for you.

2 cents - in the bucket biggrin

Thanks smile

It was mostly a combo of bad lighting and not enough different angles and shots. Everything was kinda static. It was my first time though so I didn't expect too much. I'm sending in another soon. We'll see smile
