So I left Palm Springs for Salt Lake City (with a layover in Los Angeles) at 5:00 am Friday. Got into SLC at 10:30 am and went straight to Solitude ski resort. It was 9 degrees--that's not a temperature, it's a fucking science experiment. Dropped off our bags at the hotel, then rented my equipment.
Skiing was great--the snow was awesome, my legs came back pretty quickly, and the scenery is fantastic. Here's the view from our balcony:

Flew out of SLC Sunday night and got home about 9:30 pm. We really had a great time; so much so that we decided to make it an annual trip--the Annual Guy's Ski Trip, or AGST. I thought we should get naked, then we could call it the Annual Naked Guy's Ski Trip, or ANGST. Much better idea, I think.
