Yo! So I've received lots of compliments on my eyeshadow recently by some lovely people so I thought why not share my method with you guys and help create a world of beautiful rainbow fairies? :)

Here we go!

YOU WILL NEED:

- Masking tape

- Liquid Eyeliner

- Shimmery eyeshadows in rainbow colours, OR light/transluscent glitter powder with glitter fix gel

- Eyeshadows in Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple and White

- Stick concealer

DIRECTIONS:

1) On the eye you plan to start with, cover the eyelid with stick concealer from the corners to under the brow until the eyelid is sticky and fully coated

2) Grab a tiny bit of masking tape and adhere it to your eyelid where you would like your eyeliner wings to go, like a stencil

3) Figure out what colour goes best with your eyes- red/orange or purple/blue? Brown and blue eyes tend to go better with purple and blue, whereas green eyes tend to go better with red and orange. Whatever colour suits your eye colour best, start with in the corner of your eye, closest to your nose. Leave a tiny gap in the corner of your eye for white eyeshadow later. For example, I have green eyes and I started my rainbow in the corner of my eye with red eyeshadow

4) Continue applying the eyeshadow in hue order in slanted stripes. Leave space just below the brows for white shadow later on. Eg, if you started with red in the corner, apply orange next to it, then yellow then so on and so forth

5) Use your masking tape as a stencil and draw the top line of your upper lid eyeliner against it. Peel off the masking tape and draw another line to connect the wing

6) Apply white shadow to the inner corners of the eye and below the brows. Blend gently. This helps your eyes to appear bigger and brighter

7) Note the first two colours you used on the inside of your lids. Apply the innermost colour to the inner corner of the bottom eyelid, then sweep the next colour across the other half of the bottom lid. Blend together

8) If you did not use shimmery eyeshadow, gently dab some glitter fix gel over top of your eyeshadow on the upper lid (avoid areas with white shadow) and apply very light or translucent glitter

Aaaaand....

You're officially done! Now go strut your stuff down the street and make people walk into lamp posts staring at your crazy funky eyes! :D
