Okay, so my parents called me yesterday to ask me if I could take care of teh puppies and the house while they went to DC for the weekend with my brother... apparently my brother had some burning desire to see the museums there... what a weirdo...
Yeah, so Hana came over and we hung out, watched Princess Bride and then went to the local cutsie theatre to see the Director's Cut of Donnie Darko.... I've never been able to sit through that movie before, it always just bored me and made me think it was dumb... and now I'm just fucking confused.... the entire movie just defies all logic and... and.... Rahhg






I mean, if Donnie was in this time distortion thing, that resulted from him dodging the plane engine, and doing all these things in the interim, how the hell does the plane engine come through to portal if he dies? There is no way for that to happen if he dies because... blah, this is so hard to talk about because it just hurts my brain.

Moreover, HOW THE HELL WAS FRANK INVOLVED?? I don't understand it, was his role in it as that of an unwitting pawn in a game of intertemporal chess?
Why did he make him flood the school and set the house on fire? I really didn't seem to have much effect other than maybe the inevitable plane scene with his mom on the plane, but even so it's rather strange the way it all works out... I don't know... Make it stop.

Where the hell did Donnie get the gun?

I totally need to watch that movie again to figure out more, I am glad that I finally was able to sit through it though.
