Heh, so today I just felt like poo.

I don't know what it is, but I always feel so guilty and neglectful whenever Liz talks about how she won't really have anything to do when I go out of town on the weekend.... or when I run the Friday Night Magic tournament... I am going to get 1 night a week off of that though.

Speaking of nights off, 10 days until I take her to see TransSiberian Orchestra... should be very good smile I just need to find a good restaurant to take her to prior to it.

I dunno... it just upsets me that she doesn't have anything to do... I want her to have friends outside of me, it would make me happy to know she was out having fun with friends or something.

I would be willing to bet once she gets into college things will go in that direction... hopefully she'll be able to make a lot of friends and force me to tag along to her random escapades, instead of vice versa :-P

On a lighter more silly note, I did a bunch of online shopping today... I'm bad, hehe.

Now I'm off... sleep beckons

people can be cruel about other people's appearances, i went to high school in a small town with too many farms and the only radio station was a country music station, it was the sterotypical "hick" town for sure... so i was the weird one, with strange colored hair and fishnets and punky clothes, i'm not saying i was the only one, but there were very few of us who didn't wear carharts everyday. i guess girls get harassed less for piercings and "weird" appearances, but i've quickly learned to ignore the people who try to make fun at other people's expense.

you shouldn't feel guilty about leaving your girl for a few days... space is very healthy for a relationship, and i would hope she'd find something to keep her busy in your absence. like i was saying in my journal, there are so many things to do and not enough time. maybe she can find some hobbies or some girl friends to spend some time with. i don't know you or her, so it's not really my place to say anything, but from what you said, it sounds like she is too dependent on you & most of the time, that is not a good thing. i think some time away from you once in awhile will be better for your relationship. smile
