Holy cow! I have a friend! Will wonders never cease? Maybe I'll even get a job now!

I'm an awful parent. I left my poor puppy at my inlaw's place this week because I didn't feel like driving out there to get her for the 4 days I'll be in town before I have to fly back out to AZ.

I'm sure she's just fine there, but shouldn't I have gotten her?

Sitting here at 1 AM in a hotel in Columbia, MD. Nice little town. Not much to do though. Have to head to Baltimore or DC or maybe the beach. Daytime TV sucks and there isn't much else to do. Thank god there's free wi-fi here.

Note to self: it was NOT a good idea driving cross country in a u-haul towing a car with my dog!

Stopped here in rainy Springfield, MO for the night. I am thrilled that Best Western has free high-speed internet in every room. AND a fridge! My snickers was melted.....

Gee, so much going on. Got a new metal bedframe. It has much potential I think. It's very sturdy. Haven't slept (or done anything else) in it much though since just after we got it and painted the walls we went to PA for a couple days. The weather there sucked (cold and rainy) but at least I got to see most of my family...

Redecorating the bedroom. This weekend we got a new big metal bed and painted 2 walls burgundy. Painting is a pain in the butt.

How am I supposed to keep up with all the chatter on the boards and still get sleep. Maybe I should stop working....

I would love to say that I've been doing lots of exciting things, but mostly I've just been getting drunk and selling cars. Not usually at the same time though. Most of the drunkenness is on acount of my old boss coming to town for some conference. We hung out and caught up over beer and grey goose.

Happy St. Patty's to all of you drunk celebrants. I actually have the day off. It's so nice out, I'd like to go out in the yard, but it's so full of monster weeds that I would just end up attempting to yank em all.

Can I just say that ADD and high speed internet conections should not be allowed to combine! Where has the day gone?
