First off, I put up a bunch of pictures, check em out. A lot of them are kinda old, I'll put up more and organize them later.
Going to Europe is becoming a reality and I couldn't be more estatic! I got my financial junk organized today so that's not an issue anymore, and my applications are due Saturday so after this week I'll be good to go!! All I need is a medical release saying I'm in a good enough emotional and mental state to spend 6 months in Europe by myself (which I am), and a Student Visa and it's GOOD RIDDANCE AMERICA!
I leave January 5th, so I'll be spending New Year's Eve in New York, cuz my flight leaves from there. Might as well hang out with a few days prior right? Then, I'm not entirely sure when I'll be back. I might not even come back till next September....or at all if all goes well!!!!
I'm going on a study abroad trip to Paris through the American Institute for Foreign Study, so I'll primarily be in Paris, working as a bartender and going to school, and travelling on weekends! It's a dream come true honestly. I've been taking French for 7 years, and my spoken French could use a lot of help so that's my main reason for going. Plus, my roommate is going to be in Madrid so I'm gonna visit Madrid too, then the 2 of us are gonna backpack through Europe starting in May, and hopefully we'll make it to Morocco and other parts of Africa too!
Life is amazing right now. I'm so glad everything has been working out for once! I've had a really tough past 2 years of college, and now it seems like since I've let go of everything that was holding me down everything has fallen into place and I couldn't be happier.
