OK, so Metalfest hath rocked my socks yet again this year. Behemoth, Sonata Arctica, The Red Chord, Cryptopsy, and 3 Inches of Blood were the standout bands, in my opinion. Met a lot of great people, hung out with some bands and stuff and, most importantly, handed out a shitload of copies of the new demo (most notably to Brian Slagel of Metal Blade Records and Tom Pasquale from Metal Maniacs). The only downside, in my humble metalhead opinion, was the lack of more European bands on the bill. I still would kill to see Finntroll, and with their tiny-ass touring schedule, I doubt I ever will.....unless I make the trek across the pond, that is. Ah, well....I'm still planning on going to Goteborg someday.
Oh, and anyone out there who wants to check out the new demo, tracks can be downloaded from either our Myspace.com account (just search for Angelus Infernus), or from www.angelusinfernus.com
Stay metal! Hail and kill!
