7 pm ..
in 3 hours i go in to train for my new job. after about a month of harassing Jimmy at R. Thomas he has finally put me on the schedule. I love this place and have never worked so hard to get a job in my life. Generally Ive always been hired on the spot... this job required me to go in once sometimes twice a week saying.. wtf Jimmy.. hire me already.. at the request of myself and some of the co-workers he finally has. feel free to come see me altho I'll be shadowing someone for a bit till training is over... my shifts are as follows Wednesday (today) thru Sunday 10pm - 6am except Friday and Saturday which are till 5am... as far as next weeks schedule goes.. i have no idea.. he makes up each schedule on Tuesday. hopefully by then I will feel confident enough to work on my own.
*weird R. Thomas facts ... if youve been you will be just as surprised as i was when i was told.. all face jewlery (except ears) must be removed.. no lip or nose piercings.. hmmm..
*you have to have your own bank.. which means you have to bring in your own money if customers need change.. i spent time thinking about this with my smokin friend (useless fact for you since you dont know her.. but good for me
) and i wont lose money.. if someone wants change for a $20 they give me the $20 i give them change.. i kept the $20 bill and they pay for the meal with the change they have.. weird..
*we dont get those little books you take orders on.. you have to bring in your own.
*this is also the only job ive been sent home with books to read. one being "the Makers Diet" and the other being "the body ecology" .. both seem interesting.. and im actually glad to read them seeing as Im always interested to read about different aspects of alternative health.
the staff i have talked to i think is great.
okay.. i cant think clearly.. my purple vibrator came to the rescue again giving me one of those orgasms that takes away 50% of your hearing.. ya know.. where everything sounds all fuzzy and blurry... im still recovering.. that was 30 minutes ago..
