Ugh. April 30 brings us yet another 80's night in Knoxville. We just had a big "retro" party last weekend. What is this fascination with crap music from the 80's? I'm not talking about REM or Pixies or the Smiths. I'm talking about Men WIthout Hats, Corey Hart, and Bonnie Tyler. I grew up with this shit. Hated it then, hated it now.
And it has been circulating for fucking ever. Everytime I was stationed somewhere else, every time I have moved, there has always been the cool club with the inevitable weekly "80's night."
I'm fucking sick of them and not supporting them anymore. One can only tolerate so many Red Balloons.
