FUCK ME IN MY DIRTY ASS!!! Is that a sign I've got hanging over the top of my head? It must be, because lately, I sure feel like I've been fucked.
While driving home, my car suddenly would not take any gas. As much as I stepped on the gas, it would not go over 20 mph. The engine did not cut off, but it just would not get any get up and go. I had to pull into the first available shop, and that was Fisher Tire.
If you have car problems and are an auto idiot like me, avoid FISHER TIRE. They have no fucking idea what they are doing. They called me back with an amazingly simple solution, but I knew fuck all, and assumed they were the experts and knew what they were talking about. I essentially paid them 200.00 for spark plugs, when what was needed was a new fuel pump. I got 10 miles down the road only to have my car crap out on me again.
I pulled into a garage that was nearby, and they had me fixed and on my way home in an hour for another 200.00. They instantly knew what the problem was.
From now on I will always take my problems to an independently owned garage where people actually know what they are doing. These chain shops can change your oil and tires and that's about it.
